Amongst others, Founded Shinju Japanese Whisky, which HBI sold to Rogue Baron in 2020, where Ryan currently serves as CEO. Double major from University of Notre Dame, two-time captain of Notre Dame hockey team and signed with the Chicago Blackhawks organization out of college.

Brian Rathjen – KAM managing partner. Brian graduated from the Naval Academy 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After additional Navy schooling in San Diego, Brian was an Engineering Officer on the Surface Warfare community in the United States Navy. While serving onboard the USS Ouellet (FF1077) in Pearl Harbor Hawaii, then Lieutenant Rathjen was awarded both Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal of Meritorious Service. Brian Co-Founded Kelson Group a premier placement agent focused on raising capital from institutional marketplace for top tier money managers in alternative and traditional asset classes. Prior to Kelson Group, Brian started and ran Marwood Group Asset Management (MGAM) a subsidiary of Marwood Group. Brian oversaw all business and client service and had senior responsibilities involving the strategic direction and overall management process at MGAM. Brian started his career on Wall Street as Institutional Fixed Income Specialist at Prudential Securities in 1996.
