Rob Coldwell is a Delaware County PA native graduating from Upper Darby High School in 2000. He embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by starting a landscaping business in high school which he sold to help afford his studies at Penn State University. While at Penn State, Rob obtained a degree in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate. After graduation. he became the CEO in training for Swiss Farms Stores, a drive-thru grocery store chain, position that prepared him for the director of operations role and eventually their head of franchise development. Rob loved breathing new life into old gas stations with the Swiss Farms model.
In 2005, together with his wife Emma, ventured into real estate, purchasing their first single family home in the borough of West Chester. Through creative financing two homes were purchased shortly thereafter which they still currently own. During 2008/2009, as Rob and his wife Emma were starting their family and the great recession was underway, a decision was made to find / start their own company. Research and travel led them to property management. What started with a single client in Delaware County, with one rental property has grown into a family of companies with shared core values and a mission to help create the opportunity for wealth and freedom through real estate investing.
Today Rentwell Property Management grades its success on resident retention, reducing landlord liability, and increasing property values. With over $200,000,000 in real estate managed and 30 full time staff, Rob serves as the Founder and CEO. In 2020, RW Services was launched successfully (its 3rd iteration at a service company) and performs daily maintenance and custom remodeling work, focused on large apartment transformations.
In the past six years, Rob has successfully returned to his roots of real estate investment, not just management. Rob and partners have acquired, renovated, rented, and refinanced over 100 houses and apartment units as part of RW Investments. The key is the vertical integration between RW Investments, RW Services and Rentwell Property Management. With a clear mission, supported by the niche of sound real estate investment and analysis, redevelopment and full service property management, Rob is excited and grateful to offer a full suite of real estate advisory, remodeling, leasing, management, and maintenance services to his investors and clients.
