Ivan Zhang is currently CEO of PennyWorks, an investment platform whose goal is to bring the benefits of decentralized finance to the broader public. Prior to PennyWorks, Ivan held various senior roles in trading and portfolio management within large banks and prop trading firms.
Previously Head of Delta Execution for FICC Options at DRW. Founded the delta execution desk and built fully automated futures execution algos across multiple products and exchanges.
Prior roles include Senior Portfolio Manager reporting to the CIO at Bank of America, and co-founder of Blockchain Systems LLC, builder of a megawatt-scale crypto mining facility.
He holds degrees in computer science (Georgia Tech), financial mathematics (UChicago), and mathematics and economics (McGill University).
